She Rises Through It
She Rises Through It is a podcast for the woman becoming, even in the middle of it all.
Whether you're navigating motherhood, grief, identity shifts, ambition, burnout, or healing… this space is for you.
Hosted by Cydnie Jocelyn of The Cydnie Jocelyn Collective, each episode is a blend of raw truth, soft fire, and honest conversation - voice notes, soul talks, and stories from women who are still rising through the messy, sacred, in-between parts of life.
You don't have to have it all figured out.
You don’t have to rise alone.
Here, we hold space.
We speak life.
And we rise, through it.
You're not behind. You're becoming,
She Rises Through It
Healing While Holding It All
What happens when you’re healing, building, mothering, and dreaming all at once?
You don’t get to pause life to do the inner work. You do it while holding everything else. It’s messy. It’s emotional. It’s beautiful. And you’re not alone in it.
In this episode, I’m opening up about how control became my safety net, especially through college, early career, and motherhood and how I’m learning to soften. Not to let everything go, but to stop gripping so tightly.
Inside this episode, I share:
- How the little girl in me took control to keep me safe and how I’m finally learning to hold her
- What it looks like to raise emotionally aware children while also learning emotional regulation myself
- The behind-the-scenes of building this podcast, The Collective, a legacy brand for my kids… while still unraveling generational patterns I didn’t know were there
- Why healing in the messy middle is just as sacred as healing in stillness
This one is a little raw, a little real, and a big reminder that just because it’s heavy… doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.
Journal & Inner Reflection Practice
After you listen, I’d love for you to take a few minutes for this check-in. Ground your feet, take a deep breath, and reflect or journal on these:
- What am I currently holding that no longer belongs to me?
- Where am I gripping too tightly out of fear or habit?
- What does my inner girl, the one who just wants to feel safe, need from me right now?
- How can I honor my pain without identifying with it?
- What does safe emotional release look like for me today? (Screaming into a pillow? Movement? Crying in the car? Talking to someone I trust?)
End with this reminder:
“It’s okay to feel this. I don’t have to hold it all alone. I’m doing the work, even when it’s messy.”
